Awards and Honors
- Presidential decree granted by President, General Lázaro Cárdenas on September 11, 1939 and in effect currently. Therefore, studies carried out at EBC are officially recognized.
- Article 4th bestows the institution with ample recognition by granting it the autonomy to create its own academic programs in the various academic fields.
- Academic Excellence. We hold the Academic Excellence Registry granted by the Mexican Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) to institutions keeping up with outstanding educational quality levels.
- Ratification of Academic Excellence. Due to the quality, prestige and soundness of our institution, SEP ratified EBC by including it in the Register of Institutions of Academic Excellence, until the year 2014.
- EBC is certified through an “input-product standard and process standards indicators evaluation” by FIMPES. FIMPES is the Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education that gathers the most prestigious private universities in our country. FIMPES grants accreditation of the accomplishment of the educational quality standards that guarantee the level of proficiency of students completing their education in such institutions. This certification was awarded to EBC in the year 2007.
- The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. In 1989 we joined the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. This program offers our students international education and recognition.
- ALAFEC, starting in 2003 we became one of the members of the Latin American Association of Faculties and Schools of Accounting and Administration. This association supports research in Latin America.
- Socially Responsible Organization. In 2008 and 2009 we were certified as a SRO by complying with the standards of social well-being and commitment towards our planet.
- Microsoft Avant-garde Technology. We are recognized as one of the country’s most important universities regarding the technological resources utilized in the field of education and in our administrative procedures.
